The International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) is the premier international congress in the field of applied mathematics held every four years under the auspices of the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. From July 16 to 20, 2007, mathematicians from around the world gathered in Zurich, Switzerland, for the 6th ICIAM held at ETH Zurich and Zurich University.
