Meetings of the ICIAM Board are held annually. At present it has been decided to alternate between in-person and online meetings as follows.
- In odd years all-day in-person meetings are held in association with a small associated conference or with the ICIAM Congress.
- In even years meetings are held on-line and last around 1.5 hours.
