Visa Information
For those countries for which Brazil requires a visa, a tourist visa should be sufficient, because the host institutions only pay local expenses in exceptional cases. For more information on visa status for Brazil, see https://brazil.travisa.com/ or contact you local Brazilian consulate or embassy. If required, invitation letters can be obtained from the organizer, Jose A. Cuminato, at jacuminato@gmail.com
Airport Transfer
There are two airports you can fly to: Guarulhos airport (GRU), the main international Sao Paulo Airport, For details on how the transfer can be arranged consult the meeting webpage. The other airport, Viracopos (VCP), is closer to Campinas but there are not many international flights that arrive at it. It serves mainly TAP flights from Lisbon and AZUL flights from Miami. For more details about the transfer from VCP also see the meeting webpage. Information will be added to the meeting webpage continuously, so please have a look at it from time to time and before you travel.
Hotels
We have booked two hotels for the meeting: CPV which is a hotel inside UNICAMP Campus where the Board meeting will be held. The workshop will be held at IMECC, the Math Institute that is a short walk from CPV. We reserved 29 rooms at CPV that will be filled with the workshop participants and on a first come first served basis for the remaining rooms. The other hotel is Hotel Matis, located outside campus about 20 minutes walk from CPV and IMECC. We have reserved 30 rooms at this hotel.
All information about the meeting will be available at the meeting website. Further information can be obtained by contacting Jose A. Cuminato at jacuminato@gmail.com
