International Science Council (ISC)

About the ISC

The International Science Council (ISC) is a non-governmental organization with a unique global membership that brings together 40 international scientific Unions and Associations and over 140 national and regional scientific organizations including Academies and Research Councils.

The founding General Assembly of ISC took place in Paris on July 3-5, 2018. ISC was born from the merge of ICSU and ISSC.

News and announcements from the ISC can be found at the ISC webpage and many interesting reports in its Publications page. ISC publishes a monthly newsletter, and a Global Science TV channel. and has a very active committee dealing with Freedoms and Responsibilities in Science.
