Dear Presidents and Representatives,
As our scretary, Sven Leyffer already informed you that one of our Officer-at-Large, Wil Schiler, had been elected as ICIAM's President-Elect. Thus, according to our bylaws, we need to fill the position of Officer-at-Large that has been vacated by Wil Schilders' election as President-Elect at our next Board meeting.
I am therefore asking you to nominate candidates for the position of Officer-at-Large. Please see /iciam-officers for a list of current officers.
The duties of an ICIAM Officers-at-Large include attendance of two meetings per year (the Board meeting and the Officers meeting). ICIAM has funds to cover travel expenses, in case they are needed. In addition, it is expected that the Officer-at-Large actively contributes to ICIAM business, e.g. by participating in one of our committees, see /iciam-committees .
Nominations should be sent to president [at] iciam.org (president[at]iciam[dot]org) and secretary [at] iciam.org (secretary[at]iciam[dot]org) . Each nomination must include an indication that the candidate is willing to serve as Officer-at-Large, and a single-slide in pdf format to introduce the candidate at the Board meeting. Nominations must be received by October 25th, so that we can set up the required polls for our virtual Board meeting.
