Dear Presidents and Representatives of ICIAM Members,
As you already know, ICIAM is a founding member of the Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science (SCGES).
In 2022 SCGES is launching a Webinar Series, taking advantage of the global and interdisciplinary structure of the Committee. The aim of the Webinar Series is to create exchanges and interactions related to issues around gender equality in science among various scientific communities. The organizer of the Webinar Series is Professor Carol Woodward, ICIAM's representative in SCGES.
The first session of the SCGES Webinar will focus on gender equality in mathematics and will take place on Wednesday 16th February, 16:00 to 18:00 Central European Time (CET). This webinar will feature a talk on the results of the gender gap project as they pertain to mathematics and a panel discussion with three past presidents of the Association for Women in Mathematics, moderated by Carol Woodward.
