Dear Presidents of ICIAM member societies,
As it has been done in previous ICIAM congresses (at ICIAM 2015 in Beijng and ICIAM 2019 in Valencia), we are thinking about organising a presidents' meeting the day prior to ICIAM 2023(Tokyo, Japan), that is, on August 20th 2023, because it is a good occasion to discuss informally about ICIAM business, the relations with its member societies, about possible changes and improvements, new possible projects, etc. The nature of this meeting is very different from the Board meeting, which is more full of formal business, decisions, discussions, etc. The moment is good, because naturally a good number of presidents come to participate in the congress.
Before scheduling this meeting we would like to know how many of you would be interested in participating. Depending on the number of positiive answers, we will schedule the meeting or not. Can you please tell me whether a priori you would be interested in attending this meeting, and this before January 15th, 2023?
