The 23rd Annual Conference of the China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (CSIAM 2025) is scheduled to take place at the Changsha North Star International Convention Center from October 23 to 26, 2025, in Changsha, Hunan Province.
First launched in 1990, the CSIAM Annual Conference has become one of the most prestigious, largest-scale, and influential academic events in China’s applied mathematics community, with 22 successful editions to date. As a flagship platform of CSIAM, it facilitates the exchange of cutting-edge academic progress in industrial and applied mathematics, showcases interdisciplinary achievements, and addresses critical mathematical challenges in industrial applications.
The 2025 conference will feature a diverse academic program including plenary talks, thematic symposia, and forums. Notably, this year’s event coincides with CSIAM’s quadrennial leadership transition, during which the First Session of the 9th Member Representative Assembly and the election of the new Council will be conducted. To further boost cross-regional academic collaboration, the CSIAM’s Committee on International Exchange will co-organize an embedded meeting with the East Asia Section of SIAM (EASIAM) during the conference. Researchers and scholars from Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, and Africa are expected to attend and present at this embedded meeting. Other key activities include the presentation ceremonies for CSIAM Fellow certificates and the Young Talent Support Program certificates, as well as meetings of the Council, the President and Vice-Presidents.
Hosted by CSIAM, the conference is co-organized by Xiangtan University and Central South University, with support from Changsha University of Science and Technology, Hunan University of Science and Technology, Hunan Normal University, and other institutions.
