ICIAM expresses solidarity with the reconstruction of the Universidad Nacional del Sur following the floods
ICIAM expresses its deepest solidarity with the Universidad Nacional del Sur and the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina, following the devastating flood of March 7. The flood caused severe damage to the university’s infrastructure, including the loss of over 70,000 books from its library and essential laboratory equipment.

Winners of the 2024 Wu Wenjun Award for Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology
On February 20, 2025, the list of winners of the 2024 Wu Wenjun Award for Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology, the highest award in the field of intelligent science and technology in China, was announced.
Xu Zongben, advisory committee member of the Chinese Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, director of the Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Committee, and academician of Xi'an Jiaotong University, won the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Achievement Award.
