This (northern hemisphere) summer edition of Dianoia contains ICIAM President Wil Schilders' report on the annual Board Meeting of ICIAM (now online in even-numbered years) and other ICIAM news, as well as news from the International Science Council, and an article on the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS). There is a brief obituary for Rolf Jeltsch. Along with the ICIAM community, I mourn his passing. He was my predecessor and mentor as president of ICIAM, and had a profound influence in shaping the Council.
