This is the first issue of Dianoia under the editorial responsibility of our team. I, José Cuminato, will be the Editor-in-Chief, and Raquel Vieira and Leo Zacarin will be the journalists. We are based in Brazil and hope to maintain the high standards achieved by Barbara Keyfitz during her time as Editor. We plan to continue presenting the same type of information that Dianoia readers used to get from Barbara's editorial tone. For the future, we plan to have more news about ICIAM member societies, especially about their industrial activities. The exchange of information between the member societies and the Dianoia team is essential to disseminate the scientific knowledge that is produced by all of us. With this in mind, we would like to count on the society’s representatives to send us news on their activities and contributions on the industrial mathematics produced in their countries.
I hope 2025 will bring us all opportunities for new discoveries, fruitful collaborations and innovative advances in science and for the society. These are the new year's whishes from the Dianoia's team.
