In preparation for the 40th anniversary of ICIAM in 2027 Dianoia is planning a series of interviews with past presidents and people who have been influential in the advancement of ICIAM throughout these 40 years. To start the series we interviewed Barbara Keyfitz for this issue. Barbara was the editor of Dianoia until very recently and was the president of ICIAM ten years ago. In the coming issues, we intend to talk to other members of our community who witnessed the initial times of ICIAM.
We also encourage member societies to share with us information about major conferences they are organizing, or other important events. We would be happy to include them in future issues of Dianoia.
