The Serbian Mathematical Sciences Association was founded in 2015 as a society that gathers researchers and professors of mathematics at Serbian universities and research institutes. Currently, the Society has around 200 members, and approximately one half are active in the area of applied mathematics. The applied mathematics groups are active at all universities of Serbia as well as at the Mathematical Institute of Academy of Arts and Sciences in Belgrade.
